About

I’m Susan Ellis, a small-town creative with a big passion for design, art, and making ideas come to life. With a background in visual communications and years of hands-on experience, I bring a roll-up-my-sleeves approach to every project — from custom artwork and gifts to print materials and painting classes. As a mom of three and ringleader of the Ellis Circus, I understand the power of creating things that are personal, meaningful, and built to last while not compromising on design.
Artist Statement:
Curiosity may have killed the cat, but curiosity fuels me. Constantly asking the same questions and searching for multiple answers is one of the most essential steps behind my work. One plus one doesn’t always have to equal two.
Each project is a new challenge. I embrace these challenges by losing myself within the problem. Learning and exploring the worlds of my clients improves my ability to creatively communicate their message to the targeted audience.
I am a creative problem solver with a jones for pleasing. This coupled with my unceasing curiosity for improvement fuels my work. I create visual expressions that make memories. It is not important that you remember me—it is important you remember my work.
